Risi Competizione—doing things the right way, everytime
In the break between the end of the ALMS racing season (October) and the start of the next season (Sebring—in March), the shop at Risi Competizione remains very active with racing and other service activities.
Risi Competizione is a full-year operation. Team members are employed full-time and not hired and fired at the end of each season. During the non-racing parts of the year, the techs at Risi Comp work on a variety of projects: F1 Corse Clienti (client Formula 1 cars), restoration of vintage race cars, restoration of Risi Competizione cars to “as-new condition after a season of racing, and service work on everything from F1 cars to Le Mans spec racers. This year, the team has been working on the ex-Lauda 312B3 and the ex-Schumacher 310B for private clients, as well as doing service and prep work on one of the ex-Momo Ferrari 333SPs.

Operational Assets
Risi Competizione is a professional racing organization and is equipped accordingly. The team’s equipment includes three race transporters,a four bay raceshop, an engine assembly room,a gearbox room, suspension dyno, and access to a factory authorized Ferrari bodyshop (as part of Ferrari of Houston). This infrastructure enables a vertically integrated race organization.
Consistent Performance
Risi Competizione is one of the most consistent organizations in professional sports. The professionalism of the team has combined to created a team capable of winning any race. To date, the team has won two championships, achieved 29 podium finishes and has a race completion ratio of 84%, and a podium place ratio of 64%.
As always at Risi Competizione, the emphasis is on doing things the right way, all the time, for any client or project. If you’re interested in learning more about the services of Risi Competizione -- which include everything from organizing and operating a racing team to the preparation and servicing of race cars -- please contact either Donald Pierce or Russell Adams at 713-772-3868
