Mario Dominguez is one of the world’s top open-wheeled racers, notable for his ability to both turn fast laps and finish races. In 2005, Dominguez scored seven top 10 results and finished the year in ninth place in the Champ Car World Series. In 2004, he was fifth in the Championship with six top 5 finishes and 11 top ten finishes. He won Champ Car races in 2003 and 2002.

Dominguez started 2006 with an excellent showing in the Houston Grand Prix, held in May in Houston, Texas with a pole position start. He eventually finished 3rd in the race.

Mario's driving stint for Risi Competizione at Lime Rock will be his first time racing a Ferrari sports car.  
Dominguez will share driving duties with Marc Gené.
