Risi Competizione offers complete race services with a track record of success in car preparation, race support, race management, team organization and engineering development.
Operational AssetsRisi Competizione is a professional racing organization and is equipped accordingly. The team’s equipment includes three race transporters, a four bay raceshop, an engine assembly room,a gearbox room, suspension dyno, and access to a factory authorized Ferrari bodyshop (as part of Ferrari of Houston). This infrastructure enables a vertically integrated race organization.
Consistent Performance
Risi Competizione is one of the most consistent organizations in professional sports. The professionalism of the team has combined to created a team capable of winning any race. To date, the team has won two championships, achieved 29 podium finishes and has a race completion ratio of 84%, and a podium place ratio of 64%.
Founded in 1998, Risi Competizione campaigned a Ferrari 333SP through
2001, winning first in class in Le Mans and overall winner in the inaugural
Petit Le Mans. In 2002, they campaigned Lola SRPII prototypes finishing
third overall at the 24 Hours of Daytona (first in class) in route to
winning every race that year and the SRP Championship.
The later half of 2002 began the campaign of the Ferrari 360GT, and Risi Competizione
continued a strong and successful campaign with the car through 2003 and
2004. In 2005, Risi Competizione provided
U.S. logistical support and technical assistance for Maserati Reparto
Corse (Italy), who campaigned the Maserati MC12 in the ALMS series. For 2006, Risi Competizione returned to the ALMS series with the
new Ferrari F430GT, which made its North American Debut at the
12 Hours of Sebring with a strong 3rd place finish.
